This is a letter of recommendation supporting Ken Baune as an exemplary construction supervisor. My husband and I completed a million dollar home in February of 2016 and Ken oversaw the year long project. His attention to detail, timeliness and friendly demeanor made for a memorable experience.

As out of town home owners, Ken made it a point to constantly update us on a weekly basis and send photos when questions arose. Our monthly visits would detail the completed work as well as share solutions to changes that might have occurred, due to quality issues. (Ken is a perfectionist.) Ken managed a small company on our site and was respected by all. In fact, several of the team members had worked with Ken for more than 20 years on various projects. In the year long process we never saw Ken get flustered over an issue and took responsibility when materials were to arrive and did not. (That occurred once.)

The supervisor of a construction site is a manager, a therapist (to the homeowner), and an artist. Our home is a reflection of Ken's love of building, which also houses furniture pieces that he made that are works of art. The physical home is a solid structure that will be a gathering place for our family for years.

Ken was the project manager on a home I recently had built at the Tetherow Golf Community in Bend, Oregon.

Ken had the overall responsibility of seeing the total project through to completion from the implementation of the house plans to the ground breaking ceremony.

He was in charge of company employees on the job as well as the many subs and special craftsmen who completed all the custom projects and finish work.

Not only did Ken have a thorough understanding of exactly what we wanted regarding the many decisions that were made, but he also had a complete understanding and knowledge of various options while pointing out the advantages and disadvantages of what we wanted. Importantly, Ken had complete and timeley information on all costs and expenses on each and every aspect of the construction.

At all times, Ken was a pleasure to work with on the many decisions and details of the project while at the same time he kept the employees and subs on track and on time.
